Having advised public entities and private sector clients including their mandating and working committees on legal, commercial, regulatory and corporate governance issues, we are familiar with the regulatory framework and company laws across a number of jurisdictions in Pan Africa.

We have demonstrable experience in, amongst other things:

• Motivating for and obtaining exemptions under various legislation, authorisation for sovereign guarantees and indemnities in accordance with the applicable laws, delegations and levels of authority.
• Obtaining B-BBEE facilitator status for a national oil company and its subsidiaries.
• Representing national oil companies of different jurisdictions in their respective discussions with and representations to governmental authorities and committees in respect of their strategies, proposed amendments to legislation, investment and divestment decisions.
• Developing a regulatory framework governing the large scale projects relating to power generation, terminals and storage facilities.
• In-house training on a number of topics including corporate governance, applicable company laws, contracting and negotiation, and international trade.
• Advising on B-BBEE issues, regulatory issues, public decision making and public sector procurement.
